Scott County Schools will partner with Varsity Brands to provide additional resources for schools. The agreement, approved by the Scott County Board of Education on February 22, 2018, includes numerous incentives, discounts, and rewards as well as marketing and promotional opportunities for Scott County Schools.
“As a board member, I am thrilled with another option to support student athletes,” stated Diana Brooker. “As a former coach, I know the importance of quality uniforms and strong customer service with a quick turnaround time.”
Varsity Brands is comprised of BSN SPORTS, Varsity Spirit, and Herff Jones. Through this collaborative partnership, the Varsity Brands IMPACT Program targets sports equipment and athletic facility construction needs, cheer and spirit gear, and graduation and yearbook products.
More than 600 student athletes compete on 26 teams at Scott County High School. Opportunities for students will double with the opening of Great Crossing High School in August 2019.
“When a deal comes along that seems too good to be true, it usually is,” noted Dr. Kevin Hub, Superintendent of Scott County Schools. “My team spent months trying to see if we could find holes in the IMPACT program but there are none. I believe Varsity Brands is truly concerned about making the school experience better for children.”
With a mission to inspire achievement and create memorable experiences for young people, Varsity Brands elevates the student experience, promotes participation, and celebrates achievement. BSN SPORTS is a leading marketer, manufacturer, and distributor of sporting goods, apparel, and equipment.
“We are excited to partner with the district to elevate the performance and impact of the top-notch and growing athletic programs in Scott County,” stated Mike Harber, Vice President of Sales for BSN.
