Friends and Neighbors,
The maintenace department for Scott County Schools strives to provide the best learning environment for our kids and staff. We want to provide safe, clean, inviting, and energy efficient learning facilities for our community. In over thirty years as an educator, I have served in many capacities as teacher, coach, principal, and maintenance director. Over that time period, I have seen Scott County Schools grow from just under 3,000 students to over 8,000 students. Our facilities have grown and greatly improved over these thirty years as well. We are not perfect and still have lots of improvements we would like to make as budgets allow. We are a statewide leader in providing award winning facilities such as Anne Mason Elementary School, Royal Spring Middle School, Elkhorn Crossing School, Georgetown Middle School, and Southern Elementary School which have all won Associated General Contractor Awards in their respective categories over the past few years. We strive for continuous improvement in training our staff to be as skilled as they can be at performing their many tasks so that we can better serve our students. We hope that when you visit our schools, you will find the facilities in which the community can take pride. Thank you for visiting our website.
Sincerely,
Zan Rexroat, Director of Maintenance
