My name is Tim Baker and I am the School Technology Coordinator (STC) at Scott County High School. I can help students in a variety ways; including Infinite Campus support, email/computer login issues, etc.
2019-20 is my first year at Scott County and my twelfth year in education. I previously taught Integrated Science and was the STC at Franklin County High School for 11 years.
I graduated from Lynn Camp High School in Corbin, KY in 2003 and went on to attend the University of the Cumberlands where I graduated in December of 2007 with a degree in Biology and Secondary Education. During my time at Cumberland I had the opportunity to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa for six weeks during the Summer of 2006 through a student enrichment program. I was also selected to be part of a film crew for a bedbug documentary that was filmed in London, England and Paris, France during the winter of 2006-07.
In addition to my undergraduate degree, I also earned a Teacher Leader Master of Arts in 2012 from Georgetown College that focused on Instructional Technology. Then, in 2017, I completed a Rank 1 in Library Science at Eastern Kentucky University.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children (currently ages five and 10 months) and playing disc golf.
