Scott County Schools will offer free meals this summer for anyone under the age of 19. Summer meals will begin on Monday, June 3, 2019. Breakfast will be served at Garth, Lemons Mill, and Southern elementary schools from 9-9:30am daily, Monday-Friday.
Lunch will be served at Garth, Southern, Lemons Mill, and Stamping Ground elementary schools as well as Scott County High School from 11:30am-12:30pm each day.
The Cruisin' Café will deliver lunch to the following mobile sites: Ed Davis Learning Center at 11:15am, Overlook Apartments/Scotland Woods at 11:45am, Georgetown Estates A at 12:15pm, and Georgetown Estates B at 12:35pm.
Van delivery available at the following: YMCA at 10:30am, Northern Heights at 10:45am, Clairmont Apartments at 11:15am, Georgetown Terrace at 11:30am, and Bashford Apartments at 12:20pm.
“Food insecurity is an issue in our country and in our district,” stated Nutrition Director Mitzi Marshall. “We work to meet that need in the summer just as we do throughout the school year.”
Scott County Schools has offered the summer meal program for nearly 30 years. The program runs through August 9, 2019.
