Safe School Helpline is a resource available to students, parents, teachers, and staff in Scott County. Use the helpline to report anything that threatens the safety of our schools. The line is available 24/7 and reports can be made anonymously by phone, text, or online.
The number for the Safe School Helpline is 800-4-1-VOICE ext. 359 or 800-418-6423 ext. 359. Text TIPS to 66746 or send a message online at www.safeschoolhelpline.com.
Each method walks you through the steps to leave a detailed message. Schools will receive typed transcripts of the messages and can then investigate the situation and determine an immediate course of action.
Reports can include anything that might threaten the safety of students and schools in Scott County. Examples include bullying, drugs/alcohol, theft, thoughts of suicide, violence, or weapons.
More information is available on the Scott County Schools website (http://www.scott.kyschools.us) under the Safe School Helpline link located at the bottom of each page. As always, we encourage students and parents to reach out to teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure the safety of our schools and the well-being of students. If you see something, say something.
