The Scott County Board of Education seeks a strong educational leader with a focus on student achievement to serve as its next superintendent. Scott County, located 15 minutes north of Lexington, is one of the largest districts in Kentucky with 17 schools and nearly 10,000 students.
Applicants must hold Kentucky superintendent certification or be eligible for same.
Applicants must possess characteristics which demonstrate a passion for education and students, a high level of integrity and fairness, positive motivation, and strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to improve student achievement through innovative programs and curriculum.
Salary competitive and negotiable.
