  • APUSH Monday March 23rd

So, have you signed up for Remind, yet? Instructions are in the APUSH folder.

    This week's game plane:

    1. Read the changes made to the AP Exam sent in Remind link
    2. NTI days 4-13: Complete Crash Course Time Period 8: lessons 8.1 and 8.2 (AP Students are given the choice to complete AP NTI work in lieu of the school wide essay)
    3. NTI days 14-20 have been loaded. It is all review material. Primarily, it is broad sweeping review.
    4. Wednesday 3/25 is supposed to be a day AP Central loads more resources to use to review. Right now, they have material over Time Period 8
    5. April 3rd we will find out more specific details about the AP Exam (I'm betting it will consist of a number (3) of Short Answer Questions). We'll practice these beforehand. They're not as intimidating as the DBQ or Long Essay.
    6. Sign into AP Classroom and use for practice. If you've forgotten the code for my classroom (or never signed up): go to myap.collegeboard.org , enter code AEDNWK

I know this whole situation can be overwhelming. Please, don't let this course be an extra burden. I've hoped to give you just enough review material to help prepare for the exam.

Reach out through email of Remind if you have questions or concerns.

  • APUSH!!! FRIDAY 3/20

    Friday 3/20

You may have seen, College Board made a big announcement about AP Exams today. There is a lot still unclear, but what they have said is:

    1. Exams will NOT be face-to-face, rather online
    2. There will be two windows to take the exam, one sooner, one later
    3. Exams will be 45 mins in length
    4. And, for our purposes, the APUSH exam will only cover Time Periods 1-7.

There aren't too many more details, yet. But as early as next week, many resources will be made available by College Board to review for the Exam.

So. . . Press pause on the Time Period 8 work you've been doing. Await further details on the review work we will next week.

    Stay safe and well,
    Mr. Walsh
