Boys Soccer: 2/20 & 2/21 4:15-5:45 Scms turf. Sports physical required to participate.
Track Tryouts: 2/24/20 3:45-5:15 must have sports physical on file to participate
There will be a meeting for all potential soccer players for Great Crossing Boys Soccer Wednesday night, 2/26, at 7pm in the library. We will be discussing the 2020 fall schedule, open fields, off season weight training, and answer any questions about next season. We look forward to seeing you there.
The School House Champions 5K will be held April 25th at 5:30 pm. Early registration fees ($15 per person or a team up to 6 for $40 ) until February 14th. All money goes back to our school!! If you want to join a team at school, please contact Kala.Damron@scott.kyschools.us for 6th grade, Kayla.email@example.com for 7th grade or Kate.Wilson@scott.kyschools.us or Angie.firstname.lastname@example.org for 8th grade or fill out the attached form and return to homeroom teachers. We were the 2nd largest team last year and made over $1200 for SCMS. #Cards

Backpack Program: Please consider donating to our backpack program. We are in need of nonperishable food such as Poptarts, Mac & Cheese, Ramen Noodles, Hamburger Helper, Spaghetti Noodles, Soups etc.
Attendance: If a student is absent from class, signs out early or is tardy missing any part of the school day he or she must provide a note from the parent/guardian. The student has five (5) days to turn the note in upon returning from the absence. Excuse notes are available beside the sign in/out sheet. Only six (6) parent notes are allowed per school year. Parent notes may be used for illness, death or severe illness in the immediate family, religious holidays and practices, court appearances. Medical and dental appointments will be excused only for the time required for the appointment, unless otherwise specified by the doctor. Students can hand deliver excuses to the front office, parent can email email@example.com, or excuses can be faxed to (502)863-7452.
